2024 was a big year for our small business—milestones, collaborations, exciting projects, and more! As we start dreaming about what the next year will bring, it is worth looking back at all the exciting things that happened over the last twelve months. We couldn’t have done it without you, our incredible Style Maker Community! Here is a peek at some of our favorite highlights and a few thoughts on the year ahead.
Social Connections
After a quiet year on social media in 2023, we were thrilled to share more photos, more videos, and more collaborations with Alexis joining the team as our social media superstar. Watch for even more great content and funny videos this year!

- We celebrated 10 Years of Style Maker Fabrics with an EPIC giveaway. Congratulations to Christianne, from PA, on being the lucky winner!
- Jenna (@theladywholunches) joined us for two amazing collaborations this year, and both made it in the top 9! Here she is in her floral quilted coat as part of our kick off to fall!
- We love partnered with fellow small business, Chalk & Notch Patterns, for a special giveaway celebrating the launch of their Den Jacket Pattern.

Sewing Inspiration
2024 was loaded with outstanding handmade wardrobe inspiration for projects of all sorts. We started the year cozy coats to keep you warm during the winter months. Then we headed into spring with the release of our seasonal fabric collection and six incredible spring looks each featuring some of our new fabrics. Summer brought swimwear sewing with three more exciting collaborations and a HUGE project of our own. With a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Paris on the calendar, Michelle took the opportunity to create her own capsule wardrobe and took everyone along on the journey. As the cooler weather returned, fall fabrics arrived and another amazing group of sewists featuring new fabrics in each of their seasonal makes! Woweee! That was quite a year. Celebration!
If all of this wasn’t enough, this fall our small business celebrated our tenth anniversary! This is an incredible accomplishment, especially as it is getting more and more difficult for small businesses to operate. We can’t thank you all enough for your love and support over the last decade! Cheers to another TEN YEARS of fabric, sewing inspiration, and supporting each other!
While a new year is officially here, we have no idea what 2025 will bring. There are a lot of unknowns that we are watching and considering how our business will need to evolve in the coming months. However, we are sure that this year will be full of exciting new fabrics, patterns, and sewing inspiration, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you. You sometimes have rain resistant fabric for rain wear. It would be nice to get the seam sealant tape to be able to get everything needed in one place. Love your business and the quality fabrics you carry.
