Spring is officially here and we are so looking forward to all of the colorful blooms, sunshine, and new fabrics, of course! As we escape the dreary winter months, it’s time to start planning about our upcoming sewing projects. Wrapping up our spring looks is Kristin with this stunning button down sleeveless dress. She selected this textured jacquard linen blend with just the right balance of structure and drape for this shapely silhouette. She finished it off with some matching pearlized buttons for the perfect added detail!

Spring Favorites with Nandita (@divinedita)
Our next sewist combined two of our spring favorites—linen and floral! Nandita selected this gorgeous statement floral linen blend as the perfect pairing for her v-neck dress. She also kicked things up a notch by adding a short flounce sleeve and a trim accent to the front seam, incorporating a bit more of her unique style. Add some metallic shoes and a fun crocheted bag and Nandita is ROCKING her spring look!

Splash of Color with Anita (@anitabydesign)
Anita’s makes are nothing but perfection, and her new spring look is no exception! She paired a digitally printed rayon with a matching solid for a striking slash of color. She also beautifully shows off how rayon wovens can either be tailored and fitted with her button-up blouse or soft and flowy with her maxi skirt. Be sure to check out the detail photos of her blouse, the insides are almost as good as the outside. Such a treat!

Versatile Separates with Tori (@thesewingthingsblog)
We are thrilled to have Tori join us for another spring launch, and her look is as sweet as she is! Drawn to this stunning linen blend, Tori knew she wanted to make a sleeveless button-up shirt to add to her me-made wardrobe. It ended up being a great top to pair with her favorite cotton slacks, but it could easily be mixed and matched with any color in the digital floral print for even more outfit options. And don’t both pieces suit her perfectly?!

Linen, chambray, or a shirtdress—why not have all three! Ames experimented with her take on a classic shirt dress for her spring look and the results are pretty fantastic. She selected a linen blend with just the right balance of body and drape for this unique shirtdress with wide shoulders and wraparound tied waist. She also chose to run the stripes vertically for an added twist that we love! It will be a superb addition to her spring wardrobe!

Statement Floral with Montoya (@montoyamayo)
This spring, sage green and peach are one of our fabric color combinations, and Montoya’s look definitely shows us why! The two fabrics she picked complement each other beautifully for her separates look. The Magnolia Floral Sateen truly shines as a maxi skirt and the whole outfit is perfect for a spring wedding, Easter Sunday, or any upcoming event. You look amazing, Montoya!
