Sneaky Separates with Mary (@sewmarymac)
Mary’s fall look might look like a simple floral dress, but it is so much more! She cleverly created a relaxed button-up and tiered skirt in the same stunning rayon floral to create her faux dress look. That gives her the versatility of three pieces in her fall wardrobe! For a layered look, she sewed a sleeveless knit vest and added a belt, booties, and a cute bag—she is stylin’! Rich Layers with Lori (@girlsinthegarden.sews)
One of the stand-out colors this fall is deep shades of red, like the rich shade of wine Lori is featuring! She knew she wanted to make a gorgeous layering jacket with the printed ponte and we helped select just the right color of jersey to pair with it. The result is a rich, moody combo that she can easily dress up or down to suit any occasion this fall!

Patterns: Tessuti’s Berlin Jacket and True Bias’s Rio T-Shirt
Perfect Fall Match with Jenna (@theladywholunches)
This pre-quilted coating was an instant favorite as soon as we saw it, and Jenna selected the perfect pattern to really show it off! She layered it over a simple ponte knit dress to create just the right combination for her warmer fall climate. Adorable, right?!

Patterns: Spaghetti Western Sewing’s Rue Quilt Coat and Daughter Judy’s Teaque Dress
Elevated Fall Style with Marissa (@sew_help_me)
Say yes to print pants! While we typically think of prints for tops, skirts, and dresses, these floral print pants are spectacular! Paired with a comfy rib-knit top, Marissa created a tonal look that is as effortless as it is stylish. Either piece can be worn on its own, but together, they are WOW!

Cozy Separates with Faith (@faithstjules)
One of our favorite parts of sewing collaborations is all the fantastic pattern and fabric combinations each sewist selects. Faith paired our cozy patchwork double knit with this gathered blouse to create a chic yet cozy pullover. Pair it with her colored denim pants; she has the ultimate fall look!

Patterns: Simplicity’s 9545 and True Bias’s Lander Pant
Matching Set with Nastasia (@poshpilar)
Nastasia selected one of our bubble quilted coatings and cozy sweater knits to create this jaw-dropping fall look. We would have never thought to use this fabric for a cropped jacket and matching skirt, but it totally works! Versatility and layering are key for her fall wardrobe, and these definitely check all the boxes. We can’t wait to see how else she wears each piece!
