Fall Style Tour 2018 Recap

Fall is upon us and we can’t wait to settle in for a few months of sewing, crafting and creating inside! Time for hot cider, cozy fires and a pile of cozy fabrics ready to be sewn. The biggest question is what to sew first?

This year’s Fall Style Tour didn’t help our predicament—with so many amazing garments we are a bit overloaded with fall sewing inspiration. Here is a look back at each stop, along with links to each post and all of the patterns and fabrics used. Revisit a favorite stop or find one you might have missed.

Day 1 — Style Maker Fabrics

To kick off this season’s style tour, we shared two project that had been on our must-sew list for some time. They turned out to be the perfect staples to start building our fall wardrobe. Check out our extra cozy kimono jacket and classic stretch jeans in our post HERE.

Day 2 — Amy Nicole Studio

Amy kept the cozy ball rolling with the crowd-favorite Toaster sweater and paired it with these fun textured pants. Isn’t the pop of color a fun combination with the more neutral top? Learn about both pieces HERE.

Day 3 — Well Fibre

Star tested out a new pattern with the coziest twill-weave French terry. A classic look to enjoy all season long—dress it up for lunch with friends or keep it casual for a day lounging at home! Read more HERE.

Day 4 — Delia Creates

Delia created this stunning fall look rich in both color and texture. This is the boiled wool coat of our fall wardrobe dreams and we love it paired with a cozy Linen sweatshirt. See lots more photos and get all the details HERE.

Day 5 — Girls in the Garden

Lori took some fall RTW inspiration and ran with it creating this amazing look. Her combinations of color, pattern and texture took her makes to the next level and created two pieces she is sure to love this season. Find out more HERE.

Day 6 — Mahogany Stylist

For Day Six, Cennetta rocked two gorgeous fall looks in one of our favorite seasonal colors, RUST! She used two TNT patterns and added some fun details to help finish them off. Take a closer look HERE.

Day 7 — Male Pattern Boldness

We were excited to have Peter join us for this fall’s tour! Color blocking back this season in a huge way, so he used that inspiration to create this amazing button-up. With so many pieces, this made the perfect canvas for his creation! Learn more HERE.

Day 8 — Holly Dolly Darling

Day 9 — Love You Sew

Day 10 — Sew DIY

Day 11 — Inside the Hem

For Day 11, Lindsey took some of her favorite fashion trends and RTW pieces and created her own versions. This raspberry/camouflage combination is such a fun choice for this fall, but both pieces will also be amazing to mix-and-match with other wardrobe favorites all season. Watch her video post HERE.

Day 12 — Randomly Happy

Elena took a classic T-shirt pattern and created two cozy looks for her fall wardrobe. She shared how she hacked the pattern into a simple tee dress and paired it with a jersey-weight French terry for the perfect fall staple. Learn more HERE.
