It’s hard to believe our Spring Style Tour 2020 wrapped up just one month ago! Some days it seems like we were busy working on this just yesterday and others it feels like it was six months ago. None of us could have ever imagined how strange this year would start and how comforting “normal” would be come!
The timing of our Spring Style Tour ended up being such a blessing in disguise. It was just the distraction and burst of inspiration we needed, at a time when we needed it most. The Tour was something familiar we could look forward to each day and get us excited about a new season of sewing and making!
Let’s take a look back at all the amazing makes from this year’s Spring Style Tour. We’ve rounded up all the links to each post, and the fabrics and patterns used, to make revisiting your favorites quick and easy!
We kicked off the Spring Tour with this stunning chambray dress from Alexis. Such a beautiful fabric/pattern combination and her styling was on point! Get all the details and see more of her gorgeous photos HERE.

Up next, Sylvia wowed us with a pop of color and one of our favorite spring fabrics, EYELET! Her beautiful dress and infectious smile definitely brightened our day. Learn more about her gorgeous eyelet dress and get a closer look HERE.

Lindsey joined us on Day 3 with a fun video look at her spring outfit! She stepped out of her style comfort zone and created these amazing print overalls and matching rib tank. She added a canvas tote for a great splash of color and couldn’t have been more excited about the finish look! Watch her video post HERE.
Two looks, one post! Danica sewed up two stunning new rayon pieces for her spring wardrobe and we totally fell in love with both of them. Learn more about the fabrics and patterns she used and check out all of her gorgeous photos HERE.
On Day 5, we were excited to welcome Holly back for her second style tour! She found an amazing combination of texture and subtle spring color with this gauzy sweater knit and soft rayon crepe. Get all the details about both pieces HERE.
Lori immediately fell in love with this print mix rayon crepe and totally wowed us her creation! Her duster jacket truly let the fabric shine and was the perfect statement piece to add to her spring wardrobe. See lots more photos and learn more about her jacket and matching tank HERE.
With the goal to add more prints and solids to her spring wardrobe, Faith selected two amazing fabrics for her tour creations. The first, a statement rayon crepe that turned into these stunning spring pants and the second, a drapey bamboo jersey for her eye-catching ruffle tee. Find all the details about both HERE.
Day 8 was a day of favorites! Teri paired two of our favorite spring fabrics (linen and rayon!) with two must-have Closet Case patterns. The result was this stunning look that beautifully mixes textures and prints in a classic neutral palette. Find out more HERE.
Also back for her second style tour, Amy wowed us with her statement sleeve blouse and gorgeous linen trousers (featuring her latest pattern release!). Get a closer look at both pieces in her tour post HERE. P.S. Amy mentioned adding a post for how to create the flat front Nita Trousers and you can find her video tutorial HERE!
We wrapped up the tour right here on the Style Maker blog with our take on spring layers. Using the same washed linen as Amy, we sewed up a warm weather jacket that can easily be worn all season long with matching tees and tanks. Learn more about our fabric and pattern choices HERE.
Thank you all so much for following along with us to kick the spring season off in style! Your continued support of our small business means so much to us and we hope this spring’s tour brought you a bit of happiness and inspiration during this strange time. New beginnings are right around the corner and we can’t wait to see what you all have created while in isolation!
Last but not least, join us in giving a huge shout out and thank you to all the amazing seamstresses that joined us for our Spring Style Tour. Each one brought such a unique look at spring and we are so thankful for their willingness and flexibility in an ever changing situation. Thank you for your creativity, time and inspiration!
Until next time, please stay safe and just keep sewing! We’re in this together!
